Starting your own business can be tough. Not only do you feel the pressure of delivering your products or services, but you also have to juggle tasks you’ve never handled before, all whilst likely trying to keep your costs down.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce RentaSite: startups’ solution to a high-quality website without the upfront cost.
Update, June 23, 2026
Since posting, RentaSite is no longer only available for startups, and has become more flexible since its initial launch.
Please refer to the Service page for the most up-to-date information.
What is RentaSite?
RentaSite is Healthy Pixels‘ newest service package, and is a unique website service available to startups in their first year of business. In its simplest form, it gives startups a chance to get a professionally-built website without the upfront cost. We’ll sort out the design and development, buy your domain and hosting, and we’ll maintain the site, ensuring it’s up-to-date, backed-up and secure.
How does it work?
The reason we’re able to offer RentaSite at a low monthly price is that you choose from a set of pre-defined templates and layouts. After defining your website needs, we’ll select a plan and choose your page structure. You’ll have 3 designs presented to you for each layout, and we’ll have variations available for each of those, so you can, for example, choose whether you want sharp or rounded corners.
We’ll of course integrate your colours and visual style, and logo if you have one. If you don’t have this already, we’re happy to support with our grow-as-you-go branding for startups.
Background
RentaSite was built on personal experience of being a startup and really feeling the struggle of watching finances and bank accounts dip and spike all over the place. Healthy Pixels has always focused on purpose and giving back, and RentaSite is one way of doing so.
With this service, we get to support startups as they grow, ensuring they have what they need to get their business online while benefiting from professional support.
Is RentaSite for me?
While there are no restrictions in industry, RentaSite is intended for:
- Businesses still in their first year
- Those needing a basic web presence
- Those who do not yet have strong branding
It’s generally a good solution if the focus in your first year is not on SEO or using your website as your main selling or booking platform. Business types that could particularly benefit from the package include personal trainers, coaches, solicitors, brokers, mental health practitioners and trades.
It is not always the best solution for:
- Businesses beyond their first year
- Those needing a more bespoke website solution
How do I get started?
If you’re interested in RentaSite, let’s have a chat – free of charge and no obligation. During this call, it’d be great to hear about your business and your goals, and how you (plan to) sell your services/product. With these details in place, we can recommend a plan for you and, if you choose to go ahead, you can have a professional website up and running in about a week.
*Please note the timeline depends on how quickly you provide content, feedback and choices.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. After the minimum term of 12 months, the website can be purchased outright at any point if you no longer want to continue with the monthly model. Any future support after such a purchase can still be provided as needed and billed separately.
RentaSite is designed for smaller businesses and websites with up to 8 unique page templates.
Additional pages can still be created using those templates where appropriate, but larger or more complex projects are usually better suited to a traditional website build.
If your RentaSite needs to grow past 8 page templates, we can agree on a one-off project cost and potentially increase your monthly payments to reflect the additional scope.
Not necessarily.
RentaSite is primarily designed for small businesses with up to 5 employees who want something professional in place without taking on the full upfront investment in a website immediately.
Larger or more complex projects are often better suited to a traditional bespoke website project instead.
Absolutely. Content, pages, functionality, and improvements can still be added over time as the business evolves.
